Training Programs

The department offers a range of training programs for our professionals at various stages of their careers. As a result, the team’s initiative is to develop and maintain curricula for various training programs, ensuring they are up-to-date, evidence-based, and aligned with the vision and mission of Empower U.

Faculty Development

The department integrates principles of quality improvement into educational activities to ensure that training programs are continuously evaluated and improved upon to support our providers in meeting their professional responsibilities in an efficient manner that addresses competency and performance.

Supervision Support

The Department assists in both the linkage and ongoing support that addresses skill development, mentorship and clinical processing through weekly/monthly clinical supervision for those that qualify.

Continuing Education

The department assists in the sharing/offering of in-house continuing education opportunities for practicing professionals to maintain and enhance their skills and knowledge throughout their clinical careers.

Quality Improvement

The department seeks to Integrate principles of quality improvement into educational activities to ensure that training programs are continuously evaluated and improved upon to support our providers in meeting their professional responsibilities in an efficient manner.

Community Engagement

The department engages with community system partners to provide educational outreach and opportunities for community-based learning experiences.

Internships

The department continues to establish partnerships and collaborations with other educational institutions to share resources, best practices, and expertise through the experiential availability of Internship based placements and supervision.
